So smooth on jumps and in the air and it handles calm DH great. I find all the components strong and comfortable not to mention they look great! Bike is super light and maneuverable the only con I can think of is that you would need a bigger bike for most DH but that's not even a con really

 I have the '06 model.

Pros:
Generally good entry level components (Truvativ Holzfeller crankset and stem, Sun Ringle MTX S-Type rims, Specialized Rythm Pro tires)
Really nice paint job.
The geometry feels pretty good, I feel pretty confident on the bike.
Bought it for 800 bucks, fair price for these components.

Cons:
Not exactly light weight, and the new ones have Argyle 302s instead of the DJ Urban (practically a DJ2 with different stickers, only available on these P.3s).

Very light and nimble for jumping and street. Offers same "tight" geometry as the black markets but maintains the mountain bike feel, it doesn't feel like an oversized BMX bike. If you can afford it, it is by far the best dirt jumping/street/park bike you can buy...especially with that high grade component build that is comes with

I have ridden this bike all of this spring and so far it is amazing. I dont have hardly any stock parts on it so i can only really recommend the frame. the frame is really light, super low standover height, and feels perfect for dirt jumping. However it still is completely ridable xc or all mountain where it compares a lot to a specialized hardrock. The only thing that took a little while to get used to was the closeness of the handlebars. but i was switching from bmx so that could easily explain that

Light, stable and great all rounder for street, DJ and 4X. Used the 2008 p3 and it served me well, only sold it because I needed money and I suck at DJ/Street

so sick... be careful if you are a larger more heavy rider because the frame tends to crack at the head tube.

Specialized P.3 (MSRP $1650) — P. BIKES ARE A LIFESTYLE, born and bred with the integrity to push the limits of physics at your favorite jumps, streets and skate parks. All-over cold forgings, super short chainstays, high-riser jump bars and short extension stems make P. bikes durable and nimble enough to keep you moving up, not breaking down.

Platform pedals have sealed cartridge bearings, a magnesium body and Cr-Mo spindle for superior strength and light weight.

SBC P.3 disc rims are double-walled and eyeletted for maximum strength.

The P.3 frame is crafted from our A1 Premium Aluminum, with a double-butted ORE down tube and rear dropout system to accommodate single or multi-speed options.

The RockShox Argyle 80mm-travel fork is built to take abuse: 32mm Cr-Mo stanchions and one-piece magnesium lower, a 20mm thru-axle design and stiff coil spring.

Specialized 3D-forged Aggro stem is stiff and tough and accepts a 31.8mm diameter alloy riser bar: 680mm width and 8-degree back/upsweep for perfect positioning.

The Specialized Fuse BMX clamp-on grips have a 136mm micro flange and file pattern for added traction.

Avid Juicy 4 hydraulic disc brakes provide sure and smooth stopping power; dual-piston calipers with an 160mm G2 Clean Sweep rotor in front and 140mm G2 Clean Sweep rotor in back.

The KMC Kool chain features hollow pins and cutout links for shaving weight, with a Missing Link connector for easy removal and installation.

The Fuse SL two-piece crankset features Sanko Cr-Mo tubular arms and a hollow Cr-Mo spindle for unbelievable strength.

28-tooth Motostar chainring features a Wave interface designed specifically for a stronger engagement to the KMC "Kool" chain.

26x2.3-inch Rhythm Lite Control tires have a dual compound tread that rolls fast in the transition, with extra grip on the shoulders for precise cornering in the dirt.

The Specialized Fuse SL saddle uses hollow Cr-Mo rails and a rail brace for increased lateral strength.

Specifications Compare to other DJ/Street/Park Bikes
