Great derailleur! This part has taken huge beatings over the past 3 years. I do not have a chain guide, and this seems to keep my chain where I want it after landings. I have never had any problems with it, even when it was being banged by my no footers.

Actuation Ratio - is typically seen in shifters and derailleurs. SRAM primarily uses 1:1 ratio while Shimano primarily uses 2:1. It is imperative that riders check to make sure that their shifters and derailleurs are compatible with one another. If they are not compatible, they will not work.
