Really a great mech. It looks gorgeous on a bike, it's lightweight, performs flawlessly, and hits it's shifts like an elephant just rear-ended you... this thing means business.
The only downside is the extra cost over X9... which is nearly as good but significantly cheaper.

After a lifetime of riding with Shimano components, I went on the recommendations of a few trusted riders and tried SRAM...I'll never go back to Shimano! There is absolutely no comparison to SRAM's 100% positive engagement, there's no trimming-on-the-go...just straight goodness! HIGHLY Recommended!
Used to ride Shimano now I ride Shimano no mo. Sram is crisp and fast on the shifts. If you are going to ride a 44 big ring you will not be able to cross chain in to a 34 casset with the medium derailleur. Tuogh light and the carbon looks down right sexy.

Great Derailleur. Quick and smoothest out there! Never skips a cog and is super light as well. Best derailleur I've come across yet!

Actuation Ratio - is typically seen in shifters and derailleurs. SRAM primarily uses 1:1 ratio while Shimano primarily uses 2:1. It is imperative that riders check to make sure that their shifters and derailleurs are compatible with one another. If they are not compatible, they will not work.

lekka, bardzo dobra praca, "wytrzymała" przy wciągnięciu badyla w przerzutkę urwał się hak przerzutki, a przerzutka cała nie pogięta i bez luzów! 100% sprawna, ale to w 80% zaleta dobrze zaprojektowanego haka, który przy pewnym obciążeniu ma pęknąć.
Wady:
nie polecam do DH i ostrej jasdy po bardzo kamienistym terenie z durzą prędkością (w taki sposub że siła bezwładności samej przerzutki jest duża) na najniższym położeniu przeżutki (najmniejsza zębatka) wtedy plaskikowy sworzeń w którym jest wkrecona śrubka ograniczająca dolne położenie przerzutki pęka i wypada a przerzytka spada jeszcze niżej.
Ten plastikowy sworzeń to wada i zaleta bo przy zaplątaniu łancucha i pociągnięciu przerzudki przez jakieś badyle podda się i nie zerwie się gwint w obudowie przerzutki tylko ten sworzeń w przerzutce.
Idzie to łatwo naprawić wytaczając nowy sworzeń albo na stałe zakontrować małą nakrętką od wewnątrz tę właściwą śrubę z zepsutym sworzniem wtedy można szaleć w DH i przrzutka wporządku. właśnie tak ja zrobiłem.
