I really love this bike. I had a specialized enduro & stump jumper far 29'er before coming to this bike. Its nimble, easy to command, and climbs like a goat. When going down hill it inspires me to push as hard as I want without fear of loss of control. My stumpy had 29" wheels and after getting used to a 29er I did not think I would be a huge fan of the smaller wheels, but for an all mountain bike this is it for me. Now I don't have to worry about having multiple bikes to fit the riding around tahoe. I keep up with my buddies on 29'er xc bikes and just dominate going down hill in comparison. I got the 7 v the 9 as I wanted to run my own components selection. I think If i could do it all over the only change i would make is getting the 8 simply for the talas fork. It does make a big diff when climbing and still has plenty of travel to handle it all. I was going to run a different fork but after riding an 8 for a week, I will be added the talas to my bike this year. Enjoy

I've put almost 500 miles on this one this year and I'm loving it. Took it to moab utah and found out it can climb like a mountain goat. Took it to Solvista Bike resort in colorado and found out its descending is excellent. and being from wyoming all mountain is the only way to go when there is no chair lift to get you back to the top. Love the bike haven't seen anything I would trade for!

Just got this bike to replace my cannondale hardtail. Awesome bike, more fun to ride each time I go out. Climbing is a breeze with this bike. So far all this bike can't do for me is ride fast enough... Rider problem, not bike. Can't wait for the Waterloo Hydrocut!!! Specs are a little off - X9 rear derailleur not X7.
