Good tire for dry, sandy, rocky, rooty, trail riding. I am using the 29 x 2.6 up front and 29 x 2.35 out back. Note even though the pattern is the same the tread on the 2.6 is substantially larger. Surprisingly predictable grip in corners for such a fast rolling lo profile tire. Not good at all for mud. Tubeless setup is a breeze. The casing measures true to size. No failures yet.
Use these front and rear for town and country urban style riding... no complaints... when going all mountain though, these are only to be used in DRY conditions.

Bead Type - there are two main types. Kevlar/Folding Bead (lighter and ca be folded so riders can put them in their jersey pocket or hydration pack incase they rip their sidewall) and Wire/Steel Bead (heavier, cheaper, not as strong or portable, and more difficult to mount on a rim).
