I have the 2.3 version and I like this better then my nevegals, It have a great feel and solid traction for any type of riding except maybe long xc days, although I have ridden these tires for xc and have no problem with 3 plus hours on them.

Good tire. Regarding the tire width 2.3. I have it set up in front and keeps very well. I think that life or not the worst, despite the relatively soft compound. I recommend!

WTB Prowler MX 2.1 (MSRP $50) — The MX (Motocross) utilizes the same aggressive transitions and outside knobs as the Prowler XT, but features a shifted center tread. The MX is a highly predictable tire at speed, boasting deep-piercing lateral grip in loose conditions. The 2.5-inch version excels on treacherous descents and high-speed chutes while the MX 2.1-inch thrives on epic, day-long trail rides.
