@Starch-Anton: Sure. And that climb looked brutal on camera, so it was MUCH worse in person. But he still got way too many name drops from the commentators (not his fault, they probably like him because he's a good guy) to the point they missed the actual winning move by the Specialized trio when, at that point, it was their ONLY job to spot the move. And the producer using the drone shots. OMG. Maybe put a camera on course on the final climb?

Race Analysis: Elite XCO at the Mairiporã XC World Cup 2024
@owl-X: They were too busy talking about Sam Gaze "still being a threat". Career WC XCO Wins? One. He also hit the same rock at the top of the steep climb 3 times. Everyone else rode around it (Blevins rode over it the last lap, shortly before the "winning move" the commentators missed while talking about the afore mentioned Gaze). Don't get me started on the women's coverage. Sure, show us the racers not in the top 10 - I'd love that. But maybe, just maybe, do it earlier in the race rather than during the final lap action.
