I bought these forks less than a year ago in brand new condition from someone who had upgraded straight after purchase. These forks have 35mm stanchions and bascially the same build as the Pike, with a different damper.They've had good use, riding in alps and here in the UK. Forks function perfectly and stantions are mint (no scratches or marks). I've just given them a full lowers service and the fork internals are great (see photos of seals in oil). I've upgraded the debonair spring to the 2021 version (160mm). I bought a fresh set of decals, I haven't fitted them as I personally quite like them without, but I will provide the decal kit with the forks so you can choose. The fork has use marks and some scratches (on lowers) and I've touched up the paint so they look fresh. Steerer tube is 190mm (star nut fitted). The damper on the forks doesn't seem to do much/anything, it never has, and as far as I can tell that is pretty much standard with the motion control dampers. This has never bothered me as the fork functions excellently. If you would like to upgrade the damper, you can buy a charger 2 damper upgrade kit and then you essentially have a Pike. These are great forks and I would keep them but I just bought a new frame and sadly these dont fit it. Comes with boost stealth axle (brand x), as the original was crap. Up for sale I have a Nordest Bardino 29er steel hardtail frame. This is the size L, which is the largest size they do. This model is a special edition orange m1 frame which was originally purchased in 2019. Reluctant to have to sell the frame, as this bike has been incredible since I bought it last year. Very capable hardtail with perfect "hardcore" geometry, slack HA, steep seat angle, short stays and long. It's a bike that can do it all, I’ve done uplift days in the alps, I’ve bikepacked on it and done pedal days on local UK trails. It climbs like mule and decends like a monster. I am selling it because I'm spending a summer season in the alps with uplift and decided it might be a good idea to have some rear travel this year. You can run it 29er or 27.5+, I've always run it 29 The frame is used and has wear and tear marks. I didn't tape up the frame when I bought it so there's some cable rub marks, paint chips and scratches. I've carefully gone over the frame, sanded down the scratches and touched up the paint (i've taken photos of bad areas, also happy to provide a video etc). Two bad points: There are bottle hangers under the down tube, a rock strike hit one of these and dented it slightly (see photos) - this doesn't affect the frame strength and you never see it, but it's something to consider. Two of the bolts on the rear dropouts on the hanger side are stripped so you cannot remove the bolt with an allen key. This means you would have to drill out the bolt to remove it (I would do this, but living in a small city apartment I don't have a decent work bench with a clamp). The hanger is straight and doesn't need replacing, but it is something to factor in and is reflected in the price. Spare hangers and bolts are provided with the frame and if with a drill and some hex removal drill bits i'm sure they’d be easy to get out. Frame comes with a rear axle, hope headset with plenty of life left in the bearings and spare mech hanger set. Boost Spacing 148x12 (can also fit 142) 73mm Threaded BB shell Takes 140mm - 160mm Forks (I have a freshly serviced 160mm revelation up for sale also in good condition) I'm being completely honest about the frame issues and have reflected this in the price.
