Scott Gambler 720

$1750 USD
Selling my Scott Gambler 720 Downhill bike. This is the 2015 model. Rode this bike for a few years during the bike park season and had a blast on it. This is definitely one of my favorite bikes I’ve ever ridden. This was a well used bike so it does have its fair share of scratches, but all scratches are purely cosmetic and do not effect performance. The only reason I’m selling it is because it’s time for me to move up to a larger frame(I’m 6’1”). I rode this bike for 2 days at Mammoth bike park in August and it handled perfectly. This bike rode a pro grt DH course along with every pro trail on the mountain and had no problems at all. I will consider trade for a large or xl sized downhill bike. I am willing to ship this bike at the buyers expense. Look below for specs Important Notes: Fork was recently serviced with new oil and new seals. Tiny scratch on stanchion but no indent or effect on performance. Upgraded the fork coil to a 50lb spring but will also include the stock 40lb spring. Changed the rear coil as well to a 500lb spring but will also include the stock 350lb spring. Tires: Both tires are setup tubeless, the front tire just got sealant and the rear got sealant about a month ago. Front tire is a Maxxis minion dhf 2.3 while the rear has a 2.5 dhf. The front tire has a tiny cut that was repaired with some rubber cement and sealant. The tire still holds air just fine just wanted to let you know. The rear tire is low on life but still has plenty of grip. Will also include a triple thick tube in case any problems arise(not pictured). Brakes: Both brakes were recently bled. The front had a lever bleed and the rear had a full service bleed. Brake pads are pretty new. Replaced both pads about a month ago. The saddle has a rip in it from bottoming out the bike but is still comfortable to sit on. **The pedals pictured are not included. All other parts are still stock, you can find those below. Now Finished: Ask Me Anything with Greg Minnaar
What is your stance on the whole flats vs clips debate? For you DH riders, it seems crazy that you would attach yourself to a bike especially down like Val Di Sole. Would you recommend clips for all DH riders or just those racing?
