The Best Clip-In Trail MTB Pedals for 2021 - Pinkbike Buyer's Guide
There was no word of shoe + pedal combination which can result in totally different feel. For example clipping in fiveten hellcat shoes with shimano pedals leaves 0.5cm free space between them and results in horrible floating combination but then crankbrothers mallet e + same shoes does not leave any float space between the shoe and pedal resulting in very precise feel.

Marin Releases the 2019 Mount Vision
I also got one EX9 and first of all got to say to me the bike looks fine. I come from mx side and i'm not probably yet that used to the basic bike looks that some people are after here but nevertheless what made me buy that bike in the end was because it just performed so well. I've been racing it one full season now of enduro and even raced one DH race with it. Yes it has it's limits but so far those have been much farther on this bike than any other enduro bike i have ridden. Even comparing this to Scott gambler which is a full blown dh bike i still prefer to ride this over the rough stuff. What comes to the issues... I also had once the rear suspension "stuck down" when we hit the first minus degrees here in the north but got it serviced and after that it has performed well until this day (including whole race season). So all in all i don't think the rear suspension is the issue. But we do have had more issues with the rear derailleurs and getting those tuned can be a challenge some times but my bike is preproduction model and they have fixed those issues for the latest models. The reason was because the rear derailleur cable hole was too close to the derailleur itself making a steep corner there where the cable got sometimes stuck.

8 Modern Downhill Pants Ridden & Rated
@rrolly: yeah, fox attack water pants. Bought those week ago from a sale in local bike store. Done two rides and must say these are the best pants i've ridden for wet and cold conditions here in Finland.

First Ride: Polygon's New XquarOne DH
Been racing with the XquarOne Ex9 now for the past year I think this DH bike will be great. Few weeks back we were riding Hafjell bike park with bunch of friends until i broke my rear wheel by accident and had to rent a DH bike (scott gambler 17) which felt like a real downgrade even riding those black downhill trails. The suspension is just working so well with the polygon. Before the Ex9 i had a Commencal meta 4 and switching from there to Polygon felt like cheating. It just levitates over the rough stuff that i previously had so much trouble with. Of course the bike is not perfect and it has it's hick-ups but nothing any other bike wouldn't have. Yes the rear end has more flex than for example Orbea rallon but why would it need to be super stiff?
