Raffle for Rider & Photographer Colin Meagher - Recently Diagnosed With ALS & Needs Your Help
@rebel12: Yep! That's the health care system of the richest and most unequal country in the world has. So lucky to live in Europe! From Portugal to Spain, from Germany to Italy and France, everywhere here the healthcare system is public and paid by tax money of every citizen. That is just one of the many amazing rights of the welfare state that communist and socialist activists, movements and politicians won after huge struggles after WWII. One year ago I spent 12 days in the hospital due to a car accident. Price? Nothing!

Cycling Brands Under Scrutiny in Gun Control Debate
Being italian I love to live in a country where there's no free gun market and we literally think that the situation in North America is closer to medieval age than XXI century, but It's not just a matter of values and lifestyle, just look at the statistics: everywhere in the world the countries where there's the lowest amount of gun shootings are the ones where the guns are not legal except for soldiers, police men and hunting. It's really that simple. Do you want to put an end to mass shooting? Remove free gun market. Austrialia already did it in 1997, so please don't talk me that it's in your veins to be "protected" because the first thing that will protect you is the welfare state. Give jobs and security to the majority of the population and you'll see a drop in the crimes' numbers. It's not a "left wing/right wing" issue, it's common sense and we are afraid that your common sense is to let people buy guns, there are better hobbies like... mountain biking.

What's the Deal With SRAM's DUB System? More Questions
I'm not an engineer, but a professor in social sciences. Let's explain how things work in the mtb industry looking at our capitalist system which we live in: in our system the profit is what really matters in the end, customer's satisfaction? Yeah it's important, but not important as money. So you're right when you argue against this idiosyncracy, but you know, we don't live in a system that works for our happiness, neither the mtb industry. Riding the mtb makes you happy, but when it becomes a job it's definitely submitted to the rules of capital and free market, and that's why the industry doesn't have the will to optimize the standards in the present and (I'm pretty sure) it will never do that in the future. Why? Simply because it's how things go in this world under capitalism. Remember, Sram doesn't give a s***t about your request, it's the Ceo that decides what is good and what is wrong. Only with the worker's control there is the opportunity to hope that the social needs will meet, but it won't happen in the mtb industry. That's why I'll stick to my 26" with 12x135 :)

Your Bike Is Fine Already. Just Ride It. - Opinion
Kudos to you Mr. Felton! I'm on a 26" enduro hardtail, always stoked about I still like it after all these years. Stop silly consumerism that will only enrich corporations like Amazon that evade tons of taxes (I'm from Italy and those a*******s just paid 2 milion € last year because they use "Chinese boxes" method to put the legal and fiscal HG in other countries, but still making profit on our country). What we really need is to appreciate what we have and what's better than a bike ride to do so? Cheers, really like the article.

Rocky Mountain Altitude Powerplay 70 - eMTB Review
I don't want an E-Bike, I wanna work less in order to be fit to ride a normal bike. That's the revolution guys, not a new bike, but less time doing stupid (or less stupid) jobs to earn a living. Who decided that we have to work all least 8 hours a day and not let's sayin, 4? F*****g capitalism! More free time FTW!

Rémy Métailler Denied US Entry, Won't Be At Rampage
This is a f*****g paranoia USA! I mean really that kind of things made me feel so lucky to live in Europe. I know that our culture is too different from yours but, how about take Canada as an example? Free healthcare, less guns, people more polite and tolerant towards immigration.
