Watching local vids are a great reminder that all edits are just that - edits. Meaning, different sections of trails put together in an order that makes for a good video rather than what a trail looks like start to finish.
I sure do miss the last time Moose was that tacky.
I grew up riding/building trails outside of Seattle, then moved to Squamish on and off for the last 7 years. Recently moved to Calgary and can guarentee the trails at Moose Mtn are quality. 'Special K' and 'Race of Spades' make for a good time.
T-Dub is probably my second after Race, Toothless and Jean-Guy on the Rocks are so fun in their own way, I think that is why I love riding here so much, all the trails have their own feeling and style. I grew up building and riding on Vancouver Island and I didn't think I would find riding in Calgary that compared, but Moose is on par for sure!
I really enjoy Shaft too. I'm never as stoked to ride it, but it always puts a smile on my face. It's a good second run, but I'm so cooked at the bottom if I do it first. It's quite long.
