First Ride: Pivot's New Trail 429
Love my 2017 Mach 429 Trail -- great bike. The one thing that really pisses me off with this new 2018 model is the addition of the 157mm rear hub. Yet another hub width -- just what we all need. Doubling down on their Switchblade decision. Ugh.

Sedona Mountain Bike Festival - Day Three
Awesome time! There were so many bike vendors, you had plenty of opportunity to try out bikes. You might have to wait for your "bike of choice", but there were a lot of hidden gems in the lessor known brands. I got an opportunity to try out a Carbon Whyte S-150. It was a superb bike and very fun!

Up for sale is a size Large Cannondale Bad Habit 2. This bike started life as a 2016 model, but my rear triangle got damaged in a crash. Cannondale warrantied the triangle and went above and beyond by sending me an entire new 2017 frame complete with pivots and a carbon linkage! I have not ridden this new frame at all, so the frame is totally unused. I had some early issues with the formula hub (pawls), so this past fall I replaced the rear wheel with a Sun Ringle DUROC 50 with Sun Ringle SRX hubs and straight pull spokes. Many more points of engagement and she rides much better on that wheel. While waiting for the warranty frame to come in from Cannondale, I ended up getting a gift from my wife -- a set of plus wheels for my Pivot Mach 429. That kind of took the mission of this beautiful plus bike. While I would love to keep this beauty in my stable of bikes, I am selling because I need to free up some desperately needed garage space! I transferred all my components from the 2016 frame onto this bike. Components include: Rockshox Reba Fork (Just rebuilt with new seals & Token added) 2x10 Drivetrain (11-36T Cassette) Cannondale SI Cranks (24T and 36T Crankset) Cannondale Crank Removal Tool SLX Rear Derailleur SLX Shifters Shimano Deore Brakes Sun Ringle DUROC 50 Rear Wheel Schwalbe Rocket Ron 27.5 x 3.0" Tires, set up tubeless 2 Spare Derailleur hangers as well as spare parts from the original frame that will come with this bike (pivot pins, original linkage, Reba handlebar lockout switch). Overall a sweet bike I am going to miss, but I have to make room in the garage. The plus tires make this an ideal "Goldylocks" bike, as it gobbles up rocks gardens in the summer and even rides on snow in the winter. Asking $1400 plus $80 shipping cost in the US.

@hamncheez: My wife and I rode this in early September 2017 and we only saw 5 other riders. Of course, it was 100+ degrees, so maybe that had something to do with it.
