Together, the Gehrig Twins travel around the world on their IBIS bikes chasing each other by seconds on the Enduro World Series. When the race jersey is off the fun doesn’t stop, always being sure to squeeze as much out of life as they can. The three-part video series gives an insight into summertime living for the Twins. The first part takes us on the road with girls to the La Thuile stop of the Enduro World Series. The second episode reminds us that everything (and everyone) in life shouldn’t always be taken so seriously. The last episode shows us the many sides to be enjoyed in the Twin’s home of Flims, Switzerland.

Not a coincidence this trail is certified as the only IMBA epic trail in Switzerland. Copyright Sven Martin
"The Alps" - The Only IMBA Epic Trail in Switzerland

The Swiss Farmer
Andy Halter – the Farmer – with an old school Santa Cruz Super 8.

This 45km tour leads you to breathtaking views. Mostly single track, you ride through alpine meadows, forested valleys, farmland and trails that date back hundreds of years as pack-animal routes. To begin, the mountain railway does the work for you, climbing from Davos to Jakobshorn, where you find the top of the trail. From there, you’re lead down to the picturesque Sertigtal where you find yourself at one of the “Twin’s favourite trails". With a nice climb to the Rinerhorn, you reach the next trailhead to Monstein. Once there, we suggest treating yourself to a trip to the highest brewery in Europe. The "Via Romantica" section of the route leads you up to Filisur. There, a cold beer and a yummy piece of cake await you in the train station kiosk before you climb aboard the train that comfortably returns you to Davos.

So the message here is that an old Santa Cruz bike is faster than a new Ibis bike......Sponsor pulls gun, aims at foot, fires.

That's the difference between a Swiss farmer and a British one, he didn't scream at them to get off his land.

People you usually find on Pinkbike in the 'Below threshold threads...' section could learn a trick or two from this farmer.
