@thegoodflow: Too bad Danny Hart is in his twenties and already pro as his dad would provide some absolute gold helicopter parent living through their kid content

Pinkbike Poll: Would You Rather...?
I may be really wrong as I wasn't even born in 2000 so don't have too much experience with bikes from that era, other than having occasionally ridden my dads old bikes, but I feel like the the older short steep and twitchy geo and 26 wheels combined with the significantly better performing suspension of 2020 and a wide bars short stem cockpit would probably make a really fun and playful bike especially on flat and twisty trails where longer, lower, slacker geo can feel a bit draggy and cumbersome

Inside the Tape: Ben Cathro Breaks Down the Lousa DH World Cup Track
Big words about lowering the level of racing from a team that struggles to perform even on the domestic circuit nevermind in top tier racing.

5 Positive COVID Tests Registered at Nove Mesto World Cup [Update: Two Members of Team USA Test Positive]
A guy I know caught covid and went from being extremley fit and riding long distances regularly beforehand to struggling to bike for 20 miles as it fucked his lungs up really bad, for any of the xc racers side effects even half as bad as that would potentially be career ending and regardless of how likley they are to die directly of it its still a deadly virus and isn't going to do you a world of good to catch it and you could still potentially pass it on to others in at risk groups, for whom it poses much higher risk of death.

Course Preview: 2 For 1 Special - Nove Mesto World Cup XC 2020
Tire clearance may be an issue with a mudguard though, been at a fair few really muddy races where riders have had to stop and unclog mud from those lightweight mudguards.I doubt it's a risk the top riders would want to take as it could be the make or break of their race

Eliot Jackson Launches Grow Cycling Foundation to Promote Diversity in Cycling
@bman33: Not all of them but the ones it is particuarly referencing, with confederate flags and whom base their entire personality on loving a far right politician, are almost, if not all, racists whos predjudiced attitudes to outsiders of various socioeconomic and ethnic groups make it hard for mountain biking to embrace diversity, so yes if we want to share the love of mountain biking with more people and push for diversity then those particular loud outspoken trump supporting people and their mindsets should not be welcome in mountain biking. @EliotJackson big love my guy, what your doing for the sport is really great
