@nickfranko: but isn't that how it is in racing sequential gear boxes (rally, drag, etc.)? This always made more sense to me and in most cars with a sequential option it's reversed and I hate it. In motorcycles you push your foot forward/down to up-shift, and up/back to down-shift. I think that's been burned into me and I expect the same from my cars.

I think they've missed the point on the Rapha stuff. Not that I'm saying I love it and it's the coolest, but it's not fashion dipping into cycling, it's Rapha wandering into fashion. I don't think those pants are intended for use on a bike, but rather, that Rapha is trying to reach out into other markets for brand recognition.

I'm here to be notified if this is a thing. Neurosis is one of my fav bands (seen them probably 15-20 times). While I wouldn't consider them "brutal" really (maybe the early stuff when they were still basically a punk band), I would love to see if somebody put that shit to some riding.

this whole thing is awesome, but "the trees step back and let the earth speak" is a truely beautiful line that describes the desert in such a simple and effective way.
