What do you dream of when you are on a paddle boat and the sun is burning on your head? The two Pivot team riders Christoph Hartinger and Sascha Bamberg dream of what they love to do - setting the spurs to their Phoenix.
As real dope boys, they are at home everywhere, as long as it comes with flow and beat. Whether it's a jump line or old school downhill track, true to the motto "brakes wide open" and "always jump it," they fly over La Schuss in La Bresse and make the stones fly on the downhill track in Todtnau.
La Schuss is not only a great name for a big jump line, it speaks for itself! Once you drop in you shoot with flow from jump to jump.
After the hopping session, they head back to Germany, to the oldest downhill track in the country. In Todtnau the 2 guys and their Pivot Phoenix bikes feel on top of the world.
Instead of wide highways and smoothly ironed stone gardens and root sections, there is still genuine, picture-perfect, downhill blasting.
Todtnau is located in the heart of the Black Forest. Besides the wild downhill track, all is quiet there. You’d think the world is still in order here ... if it weren’t for the crazy bikers.
