Trek Slash 18.5' Enduro Bike

$1700 GBP
2016 Trek Slash 8 650b - The newest trek slash with proper sized wheels. Good Points; Almost new Monarch Plus Shock (3 Weeks Old), big improvement over the stock monarch! Recently replaced the drive train; NX Shifter GX Cassette and Chain GX Derailleur Renthal 32t Narrow Wide Chainring Forks recently had a lowers service, SKF Seal Replacement and Re-Stickered. Frame bearings have all be replaced. Original bearing where getting a bit lumpy after 18 months, replaced with Enduro Max. Brakes Recently Bled and Good Condition Shimano IceTec Pads. 150mm Rockshox Reverb Dropper Post Fitting, good working condition. Recently Bled. Hope Pro 2 Enduro Front Wheel, Bontrager G4 2.35, tubeless. Hope Pro 4 Enduro Rear Wheel, Bontager G3 2.35, tubeless. I am only 65kg so the bike has had a pretty easy life! Brand New Black Charge Spoon Saddle, (not Pictured). Wish I had fitted this earlier, big improvment over stock bontrager saddle. Headset bearings recently replaced as they where starting to go lumpy. Bad Points, I never Heli-taped the bike so it does have multiple wear marks, mostly from cable and heel rub, I have shown the worst ones in the photos but there are more. The rocker link has been marked when the bearing was replaced, doesnt effect the bike mechanically at all, and when touched up its really not noticeable. Overall, the bike does show signs of use. (like any mountain bike thats been ridden should!) But it has been well loved and maintained throughout its life. Bike can be viewed/collected from Bewdley, Bidford on Avon, or Oxford. Any questions give me a ring on the number above. ** No I will not swap for your PS3 and two copies of Cool Runnings on DVD**

Pit Bits - Crankworx Les Gets 2017
If in muddy conditions your chain got sucked up around the front chainring you would completly lock the rear wheel. Also if your chain came off the front chainring it would continue to rotate probabaly doing quite a bit of damage to your frame/leg. If they left a much stiffer freehub in the rear wheel that only disengaged when the chain jammed some of these problems could be alleviated.
