I get the feeling that Danny's bike held him back the past few years. I'd love to see him sign with a team that can give him a proven bike. As far as I can see, what happened with Danny is similar to what happened with Gwin when he first signed with Intense, where he's been riding a bike that might not be competitive at the world cup level. I also remember reading a DH bike review on Pinkbike a couple years back that compared some top bikes to the Cube rig. The verdict was basically that the Cube was the least ridable bike of the bunch. I think Danny's still one of the most gifted riders on the circuit and I'd love to see him at -- or near -- the top again.

Maybe what I love most about these comment sections is that if I scrolled them without first reading the article above, I’d think the review were for a single component

I can see DQ from a stage, but the whole race? I don’t see any rational grounds for that.

@Jaib06: I agree. Im not sure why they can’t just tack on a 10-20 second penalty.
