Video: Woodland Madness

Three consecutive Thursday summer evenings saw the team at Bexmedia head to the forest, armed with bikes, friends and some impressive camera equipment.

Tom and I try to get out once a week on the bikes, and head to the forest after work on a Thursday. There is nothing we find more fun or relaxing than hitting the dirt and having a laugh. However, we decided that we have all this amazing camera equipment at work and we should give filming mountain bikes a go.

Our boss, Craig came up to the forest with his car brimming with kit. Over the course of the next three weeks we would meet some great people and share some wonderful experiences, from conquering whips down the Dragon's Back to me slamming my face to the ground on Ski Run. Everything we did was working toward the aim of capturing the reason that we all take to the trails, to be with friends, to have fun and meet new people.
We reached out to friends on social media urging them to come down and get involved with the film.

In the end we had 4 production assistants and 10 riders turning up to help out. We had some great fun, all comparing different ways of riding different landscapes. Tom and I spent around 5 days editing the footage together and getting the colour working, We hope that you'll enjoy it as much as we did and hopefully be inspired to get out and ride!
