@mi-bike: Air a gap from a quarter pipe to a large ledge. Land on the ledge in a 50-50 grind. Crusty implies the quarter was a not-ideal transition(curvature of the ramp) and/or falling apart.

Group Test: 14 of the Latest & Greatest Flat Pedals Reviewed
Raceface Atlas have nice foot feel and grip but they fail in a painful way. When the bearing fails, the body slides off the axle. Have fun riding down the rest of the trail without a slippery tapered axle for a pedal after you just smashed your shin or crashed from losing the pedal. Happened to me 3 times before I switched to Chromag Daggas. Two seasons on the Daggas and I have not had a single issue.

Video: Louis Reboul Is Silky Smooth in "Trick List"
No Footed One Handed Seatgrab(what's this trick called?) to No Footed Can Can and the Turndown to One Foot Table stood out as some video game type tricks. Very cool video.

Opinion: Are New Bike Component Standards Really That Bad?
Here to say standards are great.I love them and wish we had more that lasted longer!
I still have a 2015 Marzocchi fork with a snapped axle laying around in the shed destined to rot forever unused.
