PRESS RELEASE: BikeStow

Fed up with your average bike stand being too loose for some bikes and too tight for others? We were, so our co-founder / son George developed the BikeStow Stance.

This is our new low-profile bike stand which combines striking adaptability with striking looks. Dramatic in shape but subtle in size, the Stance beautifully compliments whichever prized bike you choose to pair it with. Brilliant for storing bikes in your shed or garage, and even more so in your living room or bedroom...

Key Features:
• Infinitely adjustable tyre slot width to perfectly fit your exact bike
• Strikingly compliments the stowed bike
• Fits 20" - 29" wheels from 0.5" - 4.8" wide
• Kids, BMX, Road, MTB, Electric, and Fat bikes
• Strong grip and no frame contact
• Easily flat-packable
• Lovingly UK family made

The secret to its functionality is the sliding tyre-sandwiching side. The right side can be moved to any desired position and quickly locked in place with three thumb-screws. This infinite adjustability gives you the choice on how tight, or loose, you wish the Stance holds your bike.

The left side has two fixed positions, one for standard tyres (up to 3” wide) and one for plus & fat tyres (up to 4.8”). Therefore, the BikeStow Stance can hold anything from small kids, bmx, and road bikes, all the way up to the heaviest mountain, electric, and fat bikes.

The BikeStow Stance is lovingly family made in-house in Stourbridge, UK, by Julie (Mum), George (son), Piers, and Kirk. Each unit is CNC routed from Volcanic Black faced birch plywood, before being skillfully hand-chamfered, finished, flat-packed and boxed into paper & card only packaging.

The Stance completes a trilogy of BikeStow products, alongside the BikeStow Original, for transporting bikes in vans, and BikeStow Up, for freestanding vertical bike storage.

Nice, except that I have the mtbhopper one and while this one probably holds the tire better, I have a tendency to ram the bike in the slot, so let's hope that front thumb-screw wouldn't break or get loose by being repetitively hit.

MTB Hopper owner here, Excellent stand and does the same thing for half the price.

2x4 off cuts and some screws? $2? As pretty? No. More functional? Yes.
