Giant Trance alloy, custom build.

$2200 USD
Hello all, selling my custom build 2018 Giant Trance. The bike started out in it's life as a trance 3, however the only remaining parts from the factory build are the bars, stem and hub. Fork: 2019 Lyric 150mm rc2 Shock: 2019 super deluxe rct (185 x 55m ) resulting in 147mm real wheel travel. Drivetrain: Shimano Xt 11 speed, with sunrace 46t cassette, and gx 32t chainring. Sram chain 1 month old. Dropper post: One up v1 170mm Brakes: Sram guide rs w 200mm rotor front, 180 rear Wheelset: DT Ex511 hoops laced to stock hubs (30mm id) Tires: Maxxis Assegai front, dhr 2 rear. The bad: I ride hard and often, this bike has obvious cosmetic signs of use. Namely, two small dents in the bottom tube near the bb, and a 2 inch scratch on the chainstay. The good: I'm the orginal owner of the bike and have been upgrading it as parts have worn out. The bike is about to recieve new linkage bearings all around as well as freshly serviced suspension. The fork is new old stock that I purchased in December of 2019, and the shock is the same, purchased in October of 2019. The wheels were built in summer of 2018 and are in excelllent shape. Most of the world cup dh riders are on these same hoops. If you are looking for an affordable bike with high quality components, and an alloy frame, this is your bike. It doesn't have the steepest seatube — or slackest headangle, but it's strong and where it's failed it's been upgraded. If you are looking for a light bike with like new paint this is not your bike. It's been ridden, sent, and most importantly loved and cherished. For any additional questions feel free to text or to message on here and I'll get back asap. Defintely partial to local pickup, willing to drive to meetup so long as it's near some good riding.

@endurocat: Yeah this was not an xc track by any means dude. I was there, granted it wasn't as gnarly as last year but still.

@eurojuice: I have friends that keep their bikes like that. Honestly, I like the way mine looks when it's dirty. Reminds me of good times.
