The Kicking Horse Bike Park opens this weekend, and it feels like Christmas morning. Instead of waking up Saturday morning to unwrap over-packaged crap we throw away by evening, we are all goosebumpy about fresh gifts carved right into the ground.
If there is any constant up here, it is the anticipation of change. Three big reroutes are ready for your pleasure, including a brand new mid-mountain trail that cuts off that ribbon of misery we call the 10 Road. As usual, all sorts of improvements have been added this spring, and they will continue throughout the season. Kicking Horse is never the same park twice. We hope you enjoy the changes. Everything below the alpine bowls, including Magic Carpet Ride, will be open on Saturday. Above that is not far behind.
