Industry Insider: Andy Pruitt Retires, Vernon Felton to Canyon, & More
Good for Vernon but I have mixed feelings on Canyon's business model. One of my closest friends owns a small bike shop and as a mechanical dunce I'll forever be dependent on my LBS. I get a little territorial about business practices that threaten the little guys.

Fuck yeah dude. Best piece I've ever read on PB. Sitting here with tears in my eyes feeling nothing but gratitude.

Jay Miron: A Story of Willpower - Sunday Comics with Taj Mihelich
Jay makes amazing furniture now. He's a very talented woodworker. It makes you wonder about the CTE issue and if it's partly random. Surely he took just as many hits as Mirra but he survived and is thriving. Really cool stuff^

Review: 2020 Nukeproof Reactor 290c RS
@rockchomper: I should have specified, I'm mostly riding steep, loose, chunk. I rarely get to the bike park.

Review: 2020 Nukeproof Reactor 290c RS
The assegai is a complete pig of a tire but I'll be damned if I'll ever run anything else on the enduro bike. I'll happily drag those things up any mountain in return for the dh grip. It's basically cheating for the small trade of burning a few extra watts on the ascents.

First Ride: 2020 Cannondale Habit Neo eMTB
@dan-roberts: Ha, hopefully a week in Crested Butte with a fresh fleet of cosmetic dentist Yetis. FWIW PB's own opt out article admitted that some editors would prefer to not cover them so my suppositions weren't too far off the mark. My opinions on emountain bikes are firmly rooted in my former role as a board member of Access4bikes in Marin County CA which has the most f'd up access issues on the planet. These things are not helping. Regardless, thank you for the opt out option. I'm out.

@gorideyourbikeman: It's not PB. It's the bike companies. Do you actually think the writers here want to do these reviews? They write about mountain bikes for a living because they love mountain biking. I'd wager a large amount that they have a system in place to determine who gets the next ebike review because none of them actually want to do it. But they have to if they want to get the next cool C'dale enduro/xc/trail/actual mtb to test. If they actually wanted to write about these things they'd be spitting reviews out daily but they don't. They do it because they don't have a choice. Sister site. These things aren't mountain bikes.
