Feature Film: The Journey - A BC Bike Race Film
yeah there were only few technical sections where one wished for more suspension. most of the riders were on lightweight XC racing machines. I had a lot of fun with my 130mm and plus tires as well tough ;-)

Explore Southern Switzerland in "Discovering Ticino" - Video
Switzerland is quite expensive yes. For budget trips there are plenty of beautiful other countries around. But as many already said, if you know your way around a little bit and don't need the fancy stuff, it can be affordable. Just hit up some locals or even us guys here on PB for some tips. Usually we're happy to help ;-)

BC Bike Race: 2018 Registration Opens Today
Just make sure that you know what your body needs to prep before the race and how to recover afterwards (stretching, food, supps,...) and don't ride at your absolute limit on the first couple of days. Also don't just train for long fireroad uphills, also work on technical uphills with tons of smaller and bigger step-ups and switchbacks (these were the ones that depleted me the most). Then you should be fine and can definitely enjoy that adventure!

Video: Gold Mining In Switzerland With Ludo May - Trail Ninja
to clarify: Toblerone was founded by Mr. Tobler (hence the name) in Bern and was later taken over by Mondelez International I think (among others they own also Oreo btw). So it actually used to be a rather fancy, Swiss made product but it became a mass product for international sales a long time ago. Further, the mountain the chocolate is shaped after and the guys in the video are looking for is the famous Matterhorn. The Matterhorn is located in Zermatt and actually is not far away from the spot in the video, there are also some pretty neat trails including a demanding downhill trail that can be accessed by an underground train.
