The 2016 Australian Downhill National Champs went off. The four weeks prior to the event, the town of Bright hadn't had a day under 30 degrees. Track walk on Thursday was the same, but as Friday morning can around, it poured down. Practice was full of crashes. Troy Brosnan came back to take the win from a dislocated shoulder just a few weeks ago.
