@randyridesbikes: Warm is more important to me than water proof. I've ridden in snow with my old 5.10,s and my feet stayed mostly warm and dry. Mostly. I'm stoked to try them. I got them a half size larger for the thicker wool socks. I think I'll like them. Really like my old ones.
