This is the important question. A simple fork is fine, a little less performance is fine. Top out is a hard no and deserves more than one line in a glowing review.

What a great article idea… if you want to blow out trails. Or maybe it is a good idea. Steer everyone to one trail in each area then the rest will stay nice. Hmmm.

Spotted: Prototype High Pivot Canyon Sender
@F22: while I think chain slap probably plays a role, I think you are under estimating how many people ride their bike on a trail that would have their wheel nearly lock while also taking hits, especially on a DH bike. Think steep, steppy terrain. Or shutting down after hitting a drop and hitting roots.
