Chuckanut is a native word, taken from a Lummi placename borrowed from the Nooksack language, meaning "long beach far from a narrow entrance" or beach on a bay with a small entrance.” The Nooksack word chúkwenet means “beach or tide goes way out,” and some suggest that it refers to Chuckanut Creek, where it empties into Chuckanut Bay.
I cant help but think that there may be a small % speed up in the replay.... if not... damn dude you are killing it. By no means trying to be a hater as the resulting clip is still sick. Just hard to make the feeling of riding that fast translate to the screen.
I wish I had trails that aggressive to shred. Keep filming and sharing bro.
@Rubberelli: watched it on mute while the baby eas a sleep. Must have missed the voices. It also says filmed and edited by Bryn. So, hold on to your pants keyboard warrior.
@denomerdano: it is true that most of it is self filmed, however there is one shot in there which isn't; the camera clearly tracks his movement down the trail, suggesting that someone was filming that one section. Considering Jill got run over in the credits, and also how Bryn was saying he couldn't find a camera man interested, I'd say that was her.
Bryn is the man, so much win in so many categories. What an eye for the shot, he must have spent lots of time on this to polish it to such degree. He's cornering skill is just insane.

Was that Jill who crashed in the last bit or was Jill working the camera? Aside from that the cornering skills of this man are simply the best I've ever seen. He's taken Newton's laws of motion and treated them as mere suggestions of conduct!
His little counter balance carves to set him up for the next sweeping corner are simply poetry in motion. To carry that kind of speed and maneuver his bike like that is amazing to watch. Doesn't seem possible. Puts it into perspective how talented some riders are compared to us mere mortals.
@southernrockyflow: It's amazing watching him treat a bunch of rooty gnarly techy stuff as if it were a pumptrack. Seriously, he's constantly pumping for speed, to transition the bike, to get little bits of air to clear obstacles, all so damn fast you can hardly catch it in real time. Fun to watch for sure.
is this craftily sped up momentarily throughout or some kinf of weird editing becsusr it didn't look natural. Or maybe the position of camera and it being such short sextuons of trail he appears to fly by quicker
This music is totaly out of place.
Either you put some nice music in or don't put any music in at all,
This, whatever it is, makes the whole montage seems bit off and it does not even match what is going on, for me the ugly music ruined this video.

To me, Chuckanut also means FUN
No camera operator..just the camera and him.

@eswebster: Maybe, but having seen him ride in person, I doubt it. He's ridiculously fast.

Me: "My mind has just been blown."
Too many of these are littered with the gratuitous "shaky camera that follows the rider around the corner, and then zooms in too much" shots lately.
@Bryn-Atkinson What camera do you use? That shit is criiiiisp.
Not as much as standing track side at Mountain Creek or Snowshoe when he ripped by, but alot!
but self-filmed? I saw a moving camera 1:16 and heard an operator nearly get killed
