Trailforks 30-Day Ride Challenge Prize Winners & Recap
I was thinking the same thing. I mean, props for riding for 30 days but I was HOPING that the winner would be in a less fortunate place, on an older bike. Someone who could really benefit from the giveaway bike. Like even during the video in the statistics there were people riding in so many other countries on trails that we don't hear about every day. Seems too easy that he was in Whistler.

Transition Sentinel

$3900 USD
Custom 2019 Sentinel. Built to be a bombproof "do-it-all" bike. Great 29er platform on i9 hubs and Spank rims, with Saint brakes for necessary stopping power. Ridden twice at Highland Bike Park and once at Kingdom Trails. Just like the reviews say, the Sentinel rips downhills and somehow still climbs well. All mountain style decals applied in areas of potential future wear. Valve caps have valve core remover built in. Wolftooth headset spacers to match wolf theme. Lots of attention to detail with this build. Easily over $5000 MSRP to put all of this together. 3 weeks ago. Upgraded Kona Process 134 DL + EXTRAS

$2400 USD
This bike RIPS. Has recently upgraded Fox 36 Talas fork and Cane Creek Inline rear shock, opted for a more aggressive/fun build as I tried to make it more of a "do-it-all" bike. Tons of fun to throw this around with the light back end but inspires confidence when hitting jumps with that slacker (optional) front end. Slam the fork down into 130mm for the grueling climbs, switch to 160mm for descents though I always left it wide open anyway. Aluminum frame with cosmetic scratches from regular use, though you can see it has been taken care of. Hate to part with this but I'm switching to a 29er. $2400, buyer pays shipping. **Can include original Rockshox Revelation fork (140mm) and Rockshox Monarch rear shock Build is as follows: Frame: Large, 134mm rear travel Fork: Fox Factory 36 Talas 160/130 Rear Shock: Cane Creek DB Inline CS Wheels: WTB i23 650b Hubs: Shimano SLX front, Hope rear Tires: Continentel Der Baron Projekt 27.5 2.4 Derailleur: Shimano Zee short cage 10 spd Cassette: Shimano SLX 11-36t 10 speed Chainring: RaceFace NW 36t Brakes: SLX 180 front 160 rear Handlebars: 780mm RaceFace Chester 35 Stem: RF Chester 35 Grips: ODI Ruffian Dropper: Crank Brothers Highline 160mm internally routed Pedals: Crank Bros DH Mallet
