Can someone explain these BMX hubs that freewheel backwards yet engage when they pedal? And why aren't all hubs like this?

Kenda Releases New Pinner Tire Developed with Aaron Gwin
I'll buy it when it's on sale for under $30. Then skid and shred it to oblivion as fast as possible to make way for the next on-sale-for-under-$30 tire. Business as usual.

6 New Knee Pads - Pond Beaver 2020
@rockfield: the same thing happened to mine, in the wash. I used Lepage flexible plastic adhesive. Home Depot carries it. It welds the foam back together permanently, and I've been using them for 2 season since. Good as new.

Video: 7 New Mountain Bike Tires - Pond Beaver 2020
@Trudeez: I agree. I've been running it on the back. It's been fine. Good, even considering how much mud it's seen. And yeah, I think I paid $23 for it last fall but I wouldn't opt for it at full price. All that said, I find it doesn't matter that much to me what's on the back as long as it hold air.

Bike Check: Greg Williamson's Commencal Supreme
I'm still firmly in the hate-white-forks camp. Or is it light grey? I'll let it slide if it's raw cast lowers with decals and a clear coat.
