Specialized Stumpjumper XC FSR

$350 USD
Up for sale is my trusty Stumpjumper. She is worn and weathered but has tons of life left. I have ridden her faithfully for years, and am upgrading to a bike with 29" wheels (nothing like catching on a little late). This is the perfect bike for someone new to mountain biking (or new to full suspension) to get your feet wet. The Rock Shox fork is after-market, installed in 08 or 09 (can't quite recall). The tires are less than 1 year old, and are for East coast riding (mud, root, rock, etc). Here are the specs: TIG-welded Specialized M4 Aluminum Rear Shock Fox Float R Brakeset Avid Single Digit 3 brakes, Avid SD 5 levers Shift Levers Shimano Deore RapidFire Front Derailleur Shimano Deore LX, clamp-on/34.9mm Rear Derailleur Shimano Deore XT SGS Crankset Shimano Deore XT, 22/32/44 teeth Bottom Bracket Shimano BB-ES30, 121mm spindle BB Shell Width 68mm English Rear Cogs 9-speed, 11 - 32 teeth Chain Shimano CN-HG53, 1/2 x 3/32" Seatpost Aluminum, 30.9mm diameter Saddle Specialized Body Geometry Pro Handlebar Specialized aluminum Handlebar Stem Specialized riser Headset 1 1/8" threadless aluminum Hubs Front: Specialized Stout, Rear: Shimano HB-M525 Rims Mavic XM117, 28-hole/32-hole Spoke Brand DT stainless steel, 15ga. East Bound and Down: Knoxville, Tennessee
Thanks for the wonderful article Brice, I've lived in Oak Ridge for a little over 7 years now and have been incredibly impressed by the growing bike culture (road and dirt) in east Tennessee. Thanks for shining a glowing light on the people and places that make this community exciting; the partnerships you described are bringing new opportunities and new trails on an amazingly frequent basis, and we can't wait to host you again in a few years to show off many more miles of single track and Greg Lemond's newly-established carbon fiber business (right here in Oak Ridge Tn!)
