01/05/2011, today is the day of two things, the death of Osama bin Ladin, and the day Clay Porter releases his trailer to his highly anticipated feature film, 3 Minute Gaps. F*CK YES!
Zorba, you're entitled to your own opinion. Both your, and my nations, approve of the freedom of speech.
But don't hop onto a MTB website to preach your radical, left-wing views on a controversial topic, with what clearly started as a bit of a joke...
let's just say the world has been crazy this year and it's not even summer yet but F*#k if DH isn't one of the cooler things to happen every year! I know it's been the trend with action sports but would like to see less slo-mo and more "live" action shooting in upcoming videos. like the money shot but...haha
hey @jamesoliver, as a country that too has been the target of Al Qaeda attacks, who's citizens have been killed by such attacks, and who's way of life is threatened everyday by the radicalism represented by figures such as Bin Ladin, I would expect a bit more austerity from you re: the subject at hand.
I can't wait to see this..! This is looking better than previous Porter flicks IMO...
On the side note that seems to be happening, if you check into worldwide news extensively for the last 10 years, you'll see that this is the 9th time he's been claimed dead, the first being in late 2001 due to a kidney failure. Just cuz the TV tells you something doesn't make it true...
really @DanB25. You think terrorist cells hang out and go "let's plan a threat for 10 years form today"? No, they are consistently training to threaten our way of life. Fact!
And for the record. Where were you on 9/11? I was on a hill overlooking New York City watching smoke billow from where the World Trade Center once stood listening to the sound of thousands of ambulances and fire engines drive into the NYC while helping friends cope with the fact that they had inevitably lost friends and family. Where were you during the July 7 attacks. Based on your remarks I doubt you witnessed them first hand... I also doubt you personally know anyone effected by these attacks.
Say "scared americans wayhay"... but I dare you say this to my face... or even comment to this post.
Huge apologies to Clay. He is a personal friend and I did not wish for his trailer to gain political direction. Great job with the trailer mate. I can't wait to see the film in it's entirety.
His trailer hasn't gained any political direction...
You really think 2 terror attacks are enough for me to live in fear everyday? I'm more likely to be killed in a car accident than blown up by a lunatic.
Chance of being killed in a terrorist attack: 1 in 30 million Chance of being killed in a car accident: 1 in 19 thousand
The trailer hasn't gained political direction, the rambling in this thread (due in part to me) has.
I'm not saying live in fear. I'm saying recognize the threat. But you missed my point... have some respect before you make ignorant claims like "scared americans wayhay". I GUARANTEE the day you are personally effected (and I wish it never happens to you) you won't make those remarks.
America, f*ck yeah! Comin' again to save the motherf*ckin' day, yeah, America, f*ck yeah! Freedom is the only way, yeah,
Terrorist, your game is through, ''cause now you have to answer to, America, f*ck yeah! So lick my butt and suck on my balls, America, f*ck yeah! Whatcha' gonna do when we come for you now?
It's the dream that we all share, It's the hope for tomarrow, f*ck yea!
Osama Bed Linen will no doubt have about 10 lookalikes, you know........ AK47 big beard and racksack full of C4..
Anyway.... ride ride ride
sick trailer
The landing happened, but not the video we've all seen...
Several NASA employees have told the same story on different ocassions, that we did land on the moon where A LOT of lifeforms were discovered... The story then goes that we were politely told never to come back... Look into it, it's an interesting perspective...
@Jakemires, that was Danny Hart on the Giant @Irish Tom, there's a touch of de 'oul "Marmite" about Warner, but i think his closing comment about travelling round the world practicing all week and then having the pressure of 1 race run and how the top boys handle it, is spot on.....!!! 3MG looks the shizzle....
Are the DVD's/BlueRays in stock ready to go when the release date is? Or are we going to see a repeat of Lifecycles where people were still waiting 6months later?
how about we send them out to over seas buyers a week or 2 early so they don't have to wait for ever. because thats why i ended up torrenting Life Cycles, 3 weeks after the release date was too long. i was good to see the special features when it finally arrived tho.
clay showed me his fav shot of the day while filming with sam in nz, he said is this the best thing you have ever seen or... an yes it really was. full movie is gana be siiiiiick !
I personaly can say, I CANT WAIT FOR THIS TO COME OUT ON DVD! this looks by far the best movie since a while, just wish i could go up scotland and see the premier
I cannot wait for this to come out!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!! It's gonna be the most awesome movies sinse the royal wedding!! Oh sorry for mentioning it again.
Looks Like a sick Vid. BUT I WILL NEVE PRE-ORDER A BIDEO FROM PINKBIKE EVER AGAIN! I JUST GOT MY COPY OF LIFE CYCLES THAT I PRE ORDERED ABIUT 8 MONTHS AGO!!!!
I think that is the second best save I've ever seen. I think the best was Steve Peat's in Sprung 6.
Obviously Danny doesn't think 13 is an unlucky number.
Hmm, Warner, he really is a chancer, the man is incapable of giving any genuine analysis...I wish he'd go and do some homework...His default sentence on Freecaster seems to be "Oh he's put in a few cranks there"....
i think its cool, racing is the more "sport" side of MTB, and its nice to see it documented. I kinda like his films better than those like follow me that have one or 2 freeride sections, 1 or 2 dh section, 1 or 2 dj sections etc.
F*CK YES!
You can tell all that about me from one comment about a topic that you mentioned first? Stop prop hunting and lighten up man.
and @runner how do you know it wasnt john lawlor?
scared americans wayhay
@doug13 love the whole 'go ride' comment business as if it gains you the moral high ground by default youre here commenting too dont forget!
