A few epic days in the fog and rain shooting some of the best conditions PNW has to offer. Collaborating with my good buddy and Canadian World Cup racer Ben Wallace provided some good shots and good times. Interval was a concept to showcase the work Ben Wallace has been putting in towards the 2019 World Cup Season, as well as the work I have put towards developing my filmmaking skills.
This tempo of the music and video conveys the slightly conservative riding style that the Great Darkness and wet weather bring to the PNW: just a little further back in the cockpit, a little lower off the jumps. I love the nose-over at 2:23: so perfectly executed.
Good work on this man, great vibe to the video. Love it when a film maker is a little more "brave" on the music choice. You could have just stuck a generic track over this that would have been totally ignored, instead you set the tone nicely with the music choice and love it or hate it, it's been noticed.
Really excellent video! I thought the music actually worked very well with both the riding and the edit. I feel like the only part I'd have changed is the handheld intentionally shaky bit at 2:18 which to me felt a little forced in order to sync with the specific crescendo moment in the music. Really looking forward to more Cole Nelson edits and to see what Wallace can do this coming season.
yeah another soindtrack perhaps and i would've paid more attention to the riding. this soundtrack had me looking at the ferns and the fog..but thats cool. nice riding
Song?
