“Watt’n Kurschat!”: Continental athlete Wolfram Kurschat electrifies the BIKE Festival in Riva

The BIKE Festival in Riva celebrates the start of another exciting bike season. From May 1st to 4th, mountain bike legends and celebrities, recreational riders and manufacturers will all gather at Lake Garda to welcome the new season. Of course Continental will be there, presenting the hottest tire range on the market. The German tire brand plans an electrifying start to the season with their athlete Wolfram Kurschat, who will generate pure electricity with nothing more than raw leg power and Conti rubber.


Golden sun rays, beautiful surroundings and of course an expo area with all your dream bikes. The BIKE Festival in Riva attracts a magnitude of bike enthusiasts as well as the biggest brand names in the industry. While the marathon and enduro races will provide thrilling live action, the expo area will be without a doubt the highlight of the festival. Even though the hottest products will already be on-site, Conti will do their best to really get visitors literally - amped up – for the new season.


Wolfram Kurschat is Continental’s powerhouse! The German cross-country champion is well known for the raw power he can lay down through his tires. At the Conti booth Wolfram will show just what he is capable of! For exactly one minute during “Watt’n Kurschat” he will sprint as hard and fast as he can in order to produce pure electricity. Once the gauntlet has been thrown, everyone is welcome to saddle up to challenge his result. If you think you have what it takes to beat Wolframs electrifying power, then come down to the Conti booth and prove it! The five strongest pairs of legs will each win a brand new set of Conti Speedking tires – to ensure their power has the grip it needs!
