You little go pro dorks should go for a mt bike ride or something....everyone knows Contours video quality is fine. Both cameras look great and its all about how they are color corrected. Get a life and enjoy this awesome footage.
Hes just saying the GoPro looks better than the Contour which is very true as i have had both... Sure the Contour quality is fine, but like he said, the GoPro is better, so how about you hop off his dick and go for a mt bike ride.
Well I wouldn't call myself a gopro dork. I am actually a photographer/videographer. And i agree with you contour i fine, but I was just saying gopro is better.
You are right about the the color correction. Video quality also has to do with how it is compressed. Even with that go pros do have better quality although only by a little bit. The thing that sets the go pro apart from the contour is versatility. That's why in my opinion the go pro is better product.
contour just looks nasty. You know what is also funny, Im fairly they spent a lot of time putting this video together and uploading it. cough* cough* fraser britton cough* for some reason it still looks like doodoo cough*.
haven't used the gopro hero2 yet, but the hero HD vs contour, I've owned them both and before compression the contour raw footage had much better picture.
Some of the most amazing riding I have ever see in an extremely remote area with no real medical services and the prevailing discussion is about which camera is better........... haha
Ya, because we have to watch a video of the whole experience and the quality of that video is kinda important. If higher quality video wasn't available then it wouldn't even be mentioned, we would enjoy it for what it is. But its kind of sad that the viewer experience isn't as good as it could be because they used a camera that has lower video quality than they could have.
this is so insane! but if you guys dont mind, up here in alaska we are making a downhill video on our local mountain, everything is still a little unknown. but here is a teaser for the video. thanks for supporting a local downhill scene! vimeo.com/47531818
contour is quite a bit easier to use though... with gopros you have to go through all this stuff to get the camera rolling but if you have a contour you only have to slide the switch and you're filming...by the way you can adjust the contour to have better quality
these guys don't have their settings adjusted eather... the quality is always going to be terrible until you adjust the camera's settings. I had the same problem at first with my contour and then I adjusted the settings and the video is beautiful.
i have a contour and a go pro 2 and i think the contour is so much better it doesnt weigh down ur helmet as much as the go pro and it much better to use. P.S. dont b a jackass and say get a chest mount for the go pro if its heavy on the helmet cause who really want to watch handle bars go up and down after all it is a helmet cam
