Callaghan's Cube Stereo 140 29 - EWS Round Three, Ireland
@CantClimb: And wheelbase and wheel size are totally independent. You can add high speed stability, if needed, by for example making WB longer. Or if extra room is needed, go with a longer stem added to that. These changes are not related to wheel size, per se, eventough it, of course, makes difference to riding dynamics as well. But nice way to promo new product. And at the same time this frame manufacturer has rather large banner ad on this site, how convenient...

Pinkbike Poll
What vacuum? On shock's rebuilding phase I tend to bleed damper through IFP - good design means that there is a bleed port. Of course the gas chamber should be in vacuum before pressurized with nitrogen to get the optimum performance, but sadly many mtb-shocks use just air in there... And yeah, quality (coil)shocks are pretty much just downsized moto-shocks. Because of that it'd be nice if those established and professional moto-shops could provide dyno-charts and suspension tuning for bikes too. Maybe someday. Small things make big difference but it's not rocket science, considering setup changes. :)
