Thule Aero Bars, bike carriers and footpack

$285 GBP
If you’re looking for a bike transporting solution, then it doesn’t get better than these. I’ve used other ones before. From boot mounted racks like the Saris carriers, to tailbar mounted ones, and these strike the balance between convenience, security and are certainly the best for bike and car protection. I’ve found the other systems tend to mark your car at least, and damage your frame at worst. Also, these allow almost any frame design to be used with a bike. Guaranteed to increase your riding time and decrease your cleaning time post-ride. Keeps your car nice and clean, and the Aero bars give a pretty good fuel saving for long journeys! Sale includes: Thule Aero Wing Bars 961 Gutterless foot pack for the Aero Bars (lockable for added protection) Volkswagon Polo Mark IV fittings to mount the bars 2 x Thule ProRide 591 carriers (these take large volume tyres no problem, and are lockable for protection) Thule OneKey system. All keys (including spares) for the carriers and the foot packs. Relevant instruction manuals. Youtube videos and the Thule website were more helpful to fit these, but the manuals are good to have in case you need spares. N.B: Part numbers in title. Please note that the Polo Mark IV fittings are the only things that are car specific. You should be able to fit these to any car. They’re awesome for transporting bikes and keeping the mess out. The bars are tool free to fit, making them really easy to get on and off. My personal record is under 5 minutes to get the bars, carriers and bikes on! The Swedes really knew what they were doing when they built these. I’ve seen the copies and frankly they suck. These are well worth the extra due to the attention to detail and build quality. The carriers can take bikes up to 20kg I believe. More than enough for even e-Bikes I reckon. I’ve gotten 4 mountain bikes (760mm – 800mm bars) on the rack top and tailing them (alternating front and backs) in case you were wondering how many you can fit on. One of the carriers has a missing butt cap. It’s not essential for using it and I can’t say I’ve missed it. You can buy these for £6 on Amazon if you want them. Part number is 34369 I believe. Collection/Postage I’d prefer local collection from Bracknell. Alternatively, you could collect from Wedmore (Somerset). I’m in Cardiff for a week from the 14th to 19th of September. So I could even bring them up there and meet by arrangement. Alternatively, I could even bring them into London (Waterloo) by arrangement between the 24th – 29th, or later in October by arrangement. Also happy to post them at the buyer’s cost. I’d use something like parcel2go to get a quote (fully insured) and bubble wrap them well before sending them over. Let me know and I’ll get them weighed up. I’d be happy to sell them excluding the Polo specific stuff if you’re interested to make it more appealing to a wider audience. However, I’d like to hold off on splitting individual items up to minimise complexity. I’m looking for £285 for everything. Any questions, please let me know.

Brand new Duffbag Monster bike bag – 29er friendly

$50 GBP
Product video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=159&v=aP-Kz0QJCSg Duffbag Monster, brand new and never used. Great for keeping the car clean, transporting a bike on public transport, and could even be used for trips away with sufficient padding! This thing is huge. You can fit a 29er in with the rear wheel off, and the included wheel pocket means you don’t have to faff with a muddy wheel either! Bought this to keep my car clean after muddy rides, but the weather’s been pretty good so I’ve not needed it. I could look into posting at cost, but would prefer collection. I could also meet you within 20 miles of Bracknell by arrangement, or around Swinley Forest. Canyon Nerve XC 8.0 loads of upgrades

$750 GBP
Canyon Nerve XC 8.0 with a ton of upgrades. Size M (suits someone between 170cm to 183cm), colour is a space green a bit like a speeder bike. – Fox FIT RLC 32 120mm forks 15mm through axle – Fox Float RP2 Boost with Pedal assist switch – Shimano XTR 2x chainset – Shimano XT short cage 10 speed with clutch – XT front and rear shifters – Avid Elixir 7 brakes – Avid 183mm front and rear rotors – Hope hubs on Stans Crest wheels (setup tubeless) – Schwalbe Nobby Nic 2.25 Evo Pacestar compound tubeless ready tyres – Nukeproof Warhead 60mm stem – Funn Fatboy 785mm bars – Ritchey World Cup saddle – Selle Italia SE Saddle – Superstar grips This was trail bike of the year and is still a supremely capable bike. I’ve raced XC on it with moderate success, but it’s also equally at home on big days out in Wales (with bigger tyres – it happily takes a 2.5 inch Maxxis Ardent or a Schwalbe Hans Dampf which come up very big). This would be a great bike for someone getting into the sport who wants their first “proper” bike, someone who wants an XC race bike or a trail bike that’s not too portly. It flies up the hills due to being ridiculously light, and the slack head angle, long wheelbase and very well matched suspension keep things very calm on the descent. As a bonus, the clutch mech keeps things very quiet so you don’t sound like a bag of spanners on the descent! I’ve upgraded virtually everything that can be upgraded bar the seat post. Everything on the bike is quality gear with no exceptions. It does have the usual signs of wear commensurate with use. But it has been well looked after mechanically. Reason for sale is not having enough time to ride it and it’s far too good to sit in my garage. I can arrange collection from Bracknell (Swinley Forest), or meet within 50 miles. Could also deliver to Central London (Waterloo/Goodge Street) or Bristol by arrangement. I’m looking for £750, but I’m willing to listen to offers. If you’ve got any questions then please ask.
