@iliveonnitro: yeah well maybe the transfer dropper is longer because i have a internally routed funn 150mm dropper and i can slam it... my brother has a large slash and he can only just slam the 125mm bontrager dropper though

Alright, but then why does it measure longer when you compare it to a new chain? As the pins wear, the holes in the plates they're pressed through wear as well, thereby letting the chain "grow" in length.
