Opinion: Save the Turns, Stop the Straightlines
Another semi-related hot take: not every corner requires a berm. I enjoy them but I also enjoy the challenge of trying to find grip amd speed on off camber turns.

Red Bull Announces Hardline Series Dates in Tasmania & Wales
@KickFlipABike: I honestly cant tell if you are trolling at this point. Wind isnt constant. The wind BK experienced might not be what they were seeing when they shut the event down. I seem to recall that riders were not allowed to do their second run at rampage last year due to the change of one thing: wind. The event organizers for Hardline had tents set up, media teams there, and riders flown in. I dont think the decision to cancel the event was one that they took lightly.

Field Test Review: 2024 Nicolai Nucleon 16 Supre - The Silent Plow
This bike sounds more like winch and plow. Which is pretty agricultural for a piece of sporting equipment.

Review: DVO Topaz X - Shock Week 2023
I had this on my old Marzocchi Drop Off Triples. Almost ruined the fork for me. Sounded like a pellet gun being fired everytime my front tire came off the ground.

Review: RockShox Vivid - Shock Week 2023
If you are climbing a smooth trail, a lockout will be more efficient because you will lose less energy to bike bob. Its not very much energy loss though. On a rooty, or rough climb the open suspension will "smooth" out the trail giving you more grip. A stiff rear end is more likely to bounce off this stuff. If you have a tendency to forgot that you have your shock locked out and end up descending with it locked or you spend more time on rough climbs then you might as well not bother with the climb switch.
