What to do when you have a tight group of friends/riders that eat, sleep and breath freeride, and the riding season is only a few months long? Simple: You make sure that you have as much fun as possible during the season, and make sure the lifestyle continues during the off-season as well.
Some define freeriding as a sub-category of biking. We have our own funky crew of around 10 passionate riders that instead define it as a lifestyle. It's all the new people you meet. It's all the new and exciting places you get to see. It's about the road-trips you make. It's about the nature you get to explore. It's about the rush you get when you take your bike down a trail or to a local spot. It's about the cinematography. It's about the photography. All this. Combined.

With this mixed crew from Finland, aptly dubbed as "AGM", we set out to make a movie about all that we define as freeride. Our rider crew consists of talents from both extremes; some have been playing with bikes for over 15 years and for some it's their first season into freeriding. This diversity and the noticeable progression mixed with constantly exceeding themselves on the trails makes it all the more fun. Earlier years were mainly spent photographing. We did some filming and "a season recap" about the 2008 season, but that was all filmed with hand held SD quality equipment and little planning. That was the spark though, so this year things got a little more professional. We got some HD-equipment; we manufactured our own camera dolly and wire cam systems for the 2009 season. We had a 0-budget, but lots of ideas and were eager to test them out. When we began the season and were filming the first wire cam test runs, some people (bikers and non-bikers) considered it to be mentally insane to spend an entire weekend rigging wires on a local hill to get a few secs of video or a few stills. For us, this is all part of the lifestyle - you don't have to be riding all the time to enjoy it.
Early wire cam test runs at a local hill - the rigging worked great after a few small tweaks.

The 2009 season was awesome, we went on great road-trips to many cool local and international riding spots and bike parks. We had some good parties on the road. We made new friends along the way. We got some great footage. We had an awesome time, and we can't wait for the next season. One recent addition to the group described the lifestyle well, a true story:
| I heard such good stories about all the trips you've made that I sold my house and bought a bike. |

If something is worth doing in Sweden, it's most certainly also worth overdoing!
Oh yeah, the name of the movie you ask?

If you remember Barel's segment from NWD8, then that track was by the same band.
Sometimes it's just better to call it a day, good work!!
