Bike Check: Damien Oton's Orbea Rallon - EWS Zermatt 2020
@enduroNZ: The same trails "if" you've felt your 36 or lyric deflect through a rock garden or sketchy line you may be curious. I can say the 34 on my 120 bike doesn't feel as stiff as the pike that came with it, but I wanted to lighten it up. I'm keeping my 36 on my 140 bike but have definitely had oh shit moments where it deflected. Ill be trying a ZEB on my new 160 bike when it gets here, will primarily be my shuttle rig.

Santa Cruz Hightower CC

$3000 USD
I helped a buddy new to the sport purchase this bike in May 2019. He is the second owner. He previously had back issues but was feeling pretty good and wanted to try the sport again. Long story short the lower back didn’t like it and he’s selling it. The words below are from the original pinkbike add, he only put maybe 50 miles on it, everything is still an accurate description of the bikes condition. When I received the bike from the original owner, it was packed better then bikes I’ve had shipped by shops guy definitely took great care of this thing. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions. Pictures soon to be posted. It's been stored inside its entire life and there are no surprises. The bike is in great condition and has a nice build spec and a lot of newer drivetrain components. I also just recently replaced all the pivot bearings with Santa Cruz's lifetime bearing replacement policy, and surprisingly, every single one I removed still spun like it was brand new. I'm fanatical when it comes to my bikes and this one is no exception. Everything from the stem cap to the rear brake is done correctly and functions as it should, and it isn't some beat up hack job that you often see. There are no gouges, dents, cracks, etc. It doesn't even show the usual "wear and tear" that most bikes do, just a couple faint scratches here and there. There are some paint chips on the bottom of the bottom bracket shell but every bike has those (there is NO damage). Otherwise, this thing sparkles like the day it was new. Recently serviced the fork including the updated SKF dust seals. The oil levels were precisely measured and the charger damper unit bled. The brakes have a fresh bleed and new'ish pads. New chain, newer housing and shifter cable, perfectly straight and true wheels, new'ish Maxxis HRII and DHR2 tires, etc. The bike is totally dialed and ready to rip. Let me know if you have any questions.
