Samsung Deep Summer Photo Challenge - Viewer's Choice Voting
Hopefully having a paralysed arm should make no difference to the judging process. It was an honour to win the judges vote and share the stage with Chris, Baxter, Ben and Simeon who all had a different take on what Whistler is to them and produced some amazing images. Hope you all enjoy the shows.

Brain Injuries in Mountain Biking - Are We Doing Enough?
@thedeathstar: hi Deathstar. I feel we need to defend Chris here. If you read his comments, he has actually stopped people from racing when he knows a concussion or big slam that warrants a "non start" has occurred. We should also point out that on a stage 3 miles long, seeing every crash is nigh on impossible so on the whole we felt Chris is on the money. He is acting on this issue and his comment regarding the cumulative effect of concussion ( out of race crashes going unoticed or unreported ) is important - as you could get a rider racing with concussion symptoms that would be unbeknown to the EWS race director - in turn leading to another crash. This is not a blame game - just a debate to open new routes forward. The database needs to happen - creating a rider health profile is the most accurate way of trying to protect them in the long term, along with the SCAT 3 and baseline testing structures at events.

Brain Injuries in Mountain Biking - Are We Doing Enough?
Hey Andrew. We mentioned Dave Mirra, although only briefly in the article. What you say largely aligns with our 5 point plan - we aren't medics so thanks for your feedback. Super appreciated.
