There’s a lot of buzz about Aaron Bradford right now. For the first time in his decade-plus bike racing career, he finally has some solid support. This season the 28-year-old rider is getting bikes (and a van!) from BMC Switzerland, wheels and components from Easton Cycling, suspension from Fox Racing Shox and helmets/shoes/gloves from Giro. Bradford’s bikes are dialed, his van is outfitted with a cooler and a sleeping cot and-for the first time-he can focus on racing instead of credit card debt.
That support is already paying off. Bradford is currently leading the California Enduro Series and finished third behind Josh Carlson and Adam Craig at last weekend’s Oregon Enduro. While Bradford might be turning some heads this season, he’s had plenty of strong finishes in the past. Some of his top results include winning the U.S. Super D National Championships in 2009, the prestigious Downieville Downhill in 2011 and the U.S. Single Speed Cyclocross National Championships in 2012. Whether it’s a DH bike, fixed gear track bike, cyclocross or his BMC twenty niner; Bradford is a world-class shredder. And—in true Santa Cruz, California, Style—you’ll never find him “training” for his next race. He never wears a heart rate monitor, never does intervals and drinks tall cans of Modelo on rides. If you met him on a ride, you’d think he was just another shaggy-haired trail rider. But this soul rider happens to be one of the fastest dudes in North America.

Best of luck to him though, sweet he's results and support. Those trails look fun too.
