New Motors, Derailleurs, & Yetis: EWS Crans-Montana 2022
@Baller7756: In a video they explained that they do that to match the actual vertical travel between front and rear, which in turn is supposed to provide a much more balanced suspension feel compared to say 170/170 front and rear travel. Kinda makes sense to me, but also couldn't say how much of a difference most people would be able to feel

Yeti SB165 Turq XL Custom Paint

$2800 USD
Reposting as I went ahead and painted the bike white with gloss black/silver metallic decals. Nice and subtle yet definitely still a one of one bike. Polished to the nines and ready for your friends to stare into their reflections of jealousy. Frame has been rebuilt using used linkage from my other SB165 frame that I'm not riding at the moment. Linkage was completely torn down, inspected, cleaned, greased and torqued to spec. Have not gotten around to ordering Yeti frame protection for it but that's a whole $30 from Yeti. Currently has a 2020 Factory DHX2 on it with 500lb SLS spring with minor paint damage (pictured). Shock has a season of riding and is due for a rebuild. Asking 2800 including shock, 2400 without. Shipping and PayPal on me. Thanks for taking a look! PREVIOUS POST FOR BACKGROUND: ___________________________________ Testing the waters here with my completely sanded SB165 frame down to raw carbon fiber. Well over 40 hours of blood sweat and tears went into bringing this to its current state, all with the intentions of doing custom paint and a DH build but I’ve decided to go a different direction. This was a new warranty replacement frame and as such, it has absolutely no linkages or hardware that came with it and there will not be any included with the sale. You’ll need to purchase it all direct from Yeti on their site. The rear triangle comes with bearings installed. If you still haven’t been turned off by all of that, let’s talk about your options to potentially make this a super rad one-off bike. I do custom bike painting under my LLC, OTB Designs in Arizona. I’ve painted dozens of frames varying in materials from carbon, titanium, steel and aluminum but carbon of course is the biggest pain in the ass since it cannot be chemically stripped leaving painstaking hand-sanding your only option. (If you know, you know.) Here’s what I have to offer: - You can buy it as is and do what you will with it. Get it painted by someone you know and prefer, paint it yourself, or put wax on it to preserve it as is and rock it raw. Surprisingly, paint weighs upwards of 300g on bikes and if you’re a weight weenie, this could be an enticing option. - For a small price, I can put a clear coat on it or a tinted clear much like what Specialized does or Santa Cruz’s new Oxblood scheme that still shows the raw carbon look but makes it your favorite color. (I’ve included a picture of the frame wet to show what it would look like if you just cleared it as is.) - For a bit more, we can discuss an entirely custom paint job for you. I can match the same OEM logos or we can switch it up to your liking. See last photo for an example of my work. Like I said initially, I’m just testing the waters to see if anyone would be interested. Please feel free to ask any questions or see some of the other work I’ve done. No hard feelings if you just want to ask a bunch of questions and find out it’s not for you. Thanks for looking!

Santa Cruz 5010 C Large FEES INCLUDED

$1999 USD
2019 Santa Cruz 5010 C in black/silver color way. Bought last year from the original owner. Comes with Rockshox Super Deluxe Ultimate in great shape and some extra bearings/hardware. I just took the entire frame apart to clean, check bearings, regrease and torque to spec. I replaced the two larger upper link bearings and the linkage is running incredibly smooth throughout its stroke now. Typical wear and tear/scratches, no carbon damage. Slight down tube shuttle wear. Two things to note: The chain guide I was running I didn’t notice the screw was just barely touching the frame and it’s rubbed the paint off in that area (pictured) where the bike cycled through travel. I found this very early on but it was still too late for the paint. This is hidden behind the chain ring when it’s built up. It seems the previous owner had some sort of crazy sealant explosion from the rear tire that wasn’t cleaned off the frame and it has slightly damaged the clear coat and anodizing on the links (pictured). There are some tiny bubbles across the drive side and top tube that look like sweat drips that don’t clean up. Other than that, the bike is in great shape and I loved every second of it, it’s just a bit small for me. Recently upgraded to the V4. Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for looking! **Update: I will cover all PayPal fees and shipping in the US, within reason**
