2014 Specialized Demo 8 for sale. This bike has only ever had two owners, someone racing on a team and then myself. I bought the bike in 2015 after the original owner upgraded to the 2015 version. The bike has been regularly serviced by the first owners team and by myself. There is some standard wear and tear to the bike. After all, it's a downhill bike! However, it's just cosmetic and the bike rides absolutely fine. I have put a carbon vinyl wrap over the main part of the frame. It looks quite nice and has done a good job of protecting the original paintwork. It's still on the bike (as seen in the images) but I can take it off if need be! Will happily do this before viewing to show frame is in good condition. The bike has many expensive upgrades: 2014 Fox 40 Kashima Fork Race Face Carbon Bars Hope Headset and Spacers Shimano Saint Brakes DEITY Saddle Blackspire Flat Pedals The forks are immaculate apart from one tiny scuff on the upper part of the left stanchion. I have tried my best to get a photo of it, it's genuinely tiny! It's not on the actual suspension part either so is purely cosmetic. As you can hopefully tell from the spec and images, a lot of time and love has been put into this bike. It's a real shame that I have to sell it but I haven't ridden the bike in over a year and I'm selling it to put towards a new hobby I've taken up since coming to UNI. It would be a massive waste to have the bike sit around and not be ridden! Please feel free to contact me with any enquiries or messages! I have lots of extras like inner tubes, oil, cleaning stuff etc lying around that I'd be happy to throw in. Probably a good couple hundred pounds worth of extras. Price is negotiable but please don't be unreasonable. For the spec and condition of the bike, I feel I've put a very good price.

I am selling my Carrera Vulcan mountain Bike. I bough this bike at mid-summer in 2014 because I wanted something that I could actually take to trails. I love this bike but have since upgraded to a 2014 demo 8, meaning I haven't ridden my vulcan in ages. The bike itself has only been ridden 10-15 times because I picked up a full suspension bike only a month or two after getting it. The photos don't do the bike justice because it isn't clean. I will obviously fully clean the bike this weekend but I wanted to get this listed as quick as possible. Please note that it isn't rust on the forks, it is simply mud that will be cleaned off. Everything will also be lubed. I am looking for a quick sale because I am putting the money towards some better forks. Everything works perfectly apart from the front brake doesn't seem to want to work at all. I am almost certain that it just needs a bleed as there is a lot of air in the front brake. The back brake (the important one!) works perfectly and has only recently been serviced by myself. I found these specs on the internet so they should be correct but don't hold me against it! Hi all, Selling my Boxxer RC's to pay for Fox 40's. These are off a 2014 demo 8 which was bought right at the end of 2014. The forks have been kept in great condition and were JTech'd towards the end of last year (2015). The JTECH service completely strips the forks, washes them out, changes the oil and seals, cleans everything and then puts it all back together - this cost quite a lot! The forks are working perfectly and are VERY plush. The current spring is soft (although it never bottoms out). If the spring is too soft for your liking then it is very easy and cheap to swap out to a stiffer one. I love these forks but used to have fox 40's and I miss them. These are marks to the lowers from riding (as expected) and a few on the stanchions, although they don't affect the ride or suspension at all and they are only surface scratches (meaning on oil or seal issues). Just to double check, I took it to my local bike shop and they also said that the marks have no affect whatsoever. As you can see from the photos, the forks look great and have been well looked after. I have also included photos of all the marks on the forks. I will seriously consider any swaps for Fox 40's (of course I will add cash as well). I am also open to any sensible cash offers. I am happy for people to collect or I can ship them but that would be at an additional price. If you have any questions, feel free to pop me a message or a text! Cheers Evan.

Tragic News - Stevie Smith Passes Away
Such sad news. Stevie was a great guy and inspired many to push harder than they ever have in what they do. He also inspired many that it doesn't matter what background or place you are from, you can always make it if you put your mind to it. He will be missed. Just to add I am all for the name change at Whistler. RIP Stevie.
