Shimano XTR + Easton ARC 24 wheelset *like new*

$550 CAD
Used on my girlfriends cross country bike before we built her a set of carbon hoops. Maybe 3 light rides total; the wheels are in perfect shape. These are a really nice no nonsense set of alloy XC hoops on some of the smoothest hubs you can buy. XTR hubs have really fine bearings, as well as a titanium freehub this is super light an more durable than alloy freehubs. Built with higher end lighter spokes and nipples. Bluish purple ARC decals. XTR M9000 hubs, 15x100 12x142 Easton (Race Face) ARC 24 Rims Sapim D-light spokes Sapim alloy nipples

2019 UCI MTB Rulebook Fixes DH Finals Start Order, Allows For Mismatched Wheel Sizes & More
Foes mixer gets good review - people are doing it. I have a friend who just bought an older intense SS frame, 26" wheels. Frame was mint, for $400. We are building him a mixed set of wheels. The bike calls for up to 160mm front, so we will set up 150 or maybe 140 with 27.5 front, and 26 rear. Fum rear at 150mm. Because why not - should be fun!

@lccomz: white industries seems to have cracked the code however, and have made their own splined freehub, which will accomodate the microspline cassette. Kind of cool. But it seems onyx, i9, so on, are in limbo.

@lccomz: yes, because Shimano shared the license with DT. No one else is allowed to use it.

@ronufoh: agree, fully. Shimano are usually pretty smart imho. Not on this one though. Another year eagle gains ground.

@alpenglow45: yeah. From what I hear coming down the pipe, it's a year out at least from being an open design. Lame.

@alpenglow45: you mean Shimano micro drive? I think everyone is a year out before Shimano release use of micro drive. Some are trying to work around this - i.e. white industries. If you want scylence, you'll have to buy Shimano hubs. Their rims work with shimnao hubs now.
