@allballz: You're right, and you're wrong, like the OP. Your theory is correct, but the English around it is not correct. He said 5x (five times) less..."x" is for multiplication, not devision. I knew what he means though and I was just teasing. 0.8x less, or 80% less is correct phrasing. 0.8x less is not equal to 5x less. So, technically, you are both wrong. Five times less may be interpreted as -5x by some.

@seraph: the sunrace stuff is lighter than the Shimano equivalent I think. Mx8 or ms8 or whatever the moniker is lighter than XT. And all the weight is at the hub - makes squat all difference to bike handling imo.

My Crusade - Opinion
@orientdave: usually fixed when you retorque the caps to proper torque. The most common cause is the air spring side coming loose. Retorque to 28nm with a 25mm socket. Careful not to round off the edges!

Mavic Deemax - Return of the King?
Mavic don't even have the decency to respond to customer inquiry in my experience. Bought one set if Mavic wheels. Never again.

SRAM Introduces New Roam 60 Carbon Wheels
And I say high and low side, as in drive/nondrive or viceversa, as usually one side has a much higher tension than the other.... Evey wheel is different but in my experience lately, asym rims bring the low side up to at times 90+% tension of the high side, where a non-asym rim might give you say, 60% in the same wheel. Mind you these %'s vary, but for illustrative purposes....you get it.

SRAM Introduces New Roam 60 Carbon Wheels
More even spoke tension on the high and low side because bracing angles and spoke lengths on both sides are more equal becuse of the offset. More even sooke tension should yield a stronger and longer lasting wheel.
