Manufacture warranty doesn’t mean zip here in Australia. We have the ACCC that stands for - Australian Competition Consumer Commission - So if a product fails for example a $6000 bike frame you’re covered by consumer laws ( it’s called fit for purpose ) regardless of said bike manufacturer warranty conditions. Evil bikes Australian web site pretty much states the above if you have issues with one of their frames. So do you research and don’t be bullshitted by some bike company representative. For example rumour has it that Giant makes 10% more frames in each model purely for warranty claims.

Sold my 29r and purchased a Giant Trance X 27.5 and it’s the most fun bike ever. Flip chip between 64.5 & 63.8 degree H/A. Swapped the 170mm cranks for 165s, thinking about a rear coil next. It corners so well I find myself laughing mid corner.

@olafthemoose: mate I’ll just clarify, at around 2:13 it looks like somewhere in Australia going by the looks of the trees. It’s a common problem around here on the south coast especially when stumps are being concealed by ground cover ferns.

Frickin news flash.. when removing a fallen tree cut the trunk as far away from the trail as possible. Why leave a foot diameter stump at bar or femur height baffles me. If the so called trail fairy’s make the effort to carry a chainsaw into the woods at least do the job properly.
