Fabric uses innovative design, pioneering techniques and fresh thinking to create unique and world first cycling products. Function | Performance | Technology | Ergonomics | Elegance
We believe that cycling products can be improved. Our mission is to combine technology, design and a deep understanding of the cycling industry to create a world beating range of products that make the ride better. We push the boundaries by taking an unconventional approach to development. We look outside of the bicycle industry, applying the latest engineering and manufacturing technologies to construct products in ways that no other manufacturer has done to date. The result is a range of products that combine form and function to perfectly suit the needs of the modern cyclist.
We do all of this from our design office in Frome, Somerset, U.K. We work on great products, test them relentlessly, and develop them further so that the design is sleek and so that they have improved functionality over other available products at the same price point. We’re a new brand but we have big plans. We launched with a range of world beating saddles and have now expanded into bar tape, grips, water bottles, and tools. There are more exciting products to come; watch this space.
@zede: gladly: 'box' is common 'bro parlance' for a woman's genitals. Men of this genus will often attempt to crush 'box', elevating their bro status to stratospheric levels as they perceive it. Blinded by this activity over time, men who embrace this lifestyle typically lead unfulfilled hollow lives that often resolve to a life of sexual health clinic appointments and Facebook stalking and harrasment of co workers or women on public transport. It is this lowly subject we were trading ironic comments within.
Does anyone know anything about those saddles that Bryceland and Lewis have been spotted riding? The ones with a nice big round profile like a trail/ dirt jump hybrid.
Well a box of some stuff would be nice & will post a video of the stuff, I will even thrash test the contents but will it solve the problem I have with my bike? MY BOTTLE CAGE IS TOO HIGH UP? www.pinkbike.com/photo/15004723
So...I think all you have to do is click the box that SAYS you're following them on Instagram. It appears there is no requirement that you ACTUALLY follow anything. If I'm wrong, well, no big deal. I'm not winning anyway.
@kjjohnson: I don't think there is any technical way for them to know, thus necessitating the check box. I'm guessing there is a fine print rule that if you lied, you're out, which they will find out when they ask for your Instagram to tag you as a winner.
I see these complaints everytime. Sure its a bit annoying, but think about what they are doing. A lot of these companies only real path for advertisement is social media nowadays. If you dont want to be advertised to, then you really arent the target audience of this contest (or similar contests anyways). They hope they get a bunch of new followers and hopefully one of those people at least sees an ad that appeals to them and actually pays for something. That is the only way giveaways are worth it to these companies.
@kjjohnson: FYI it states the entry is valid with a confirmation tick here on this page AND a comment including the hashtag ' #boxhunt ' on one of Fabric's posts on the comp. So if you just clicked you followed Fabric but didn't comment on their IG feed then you're SOL anyway...
@endlessblockades: this is true but... if I was a betting man I'd say it's purely to drive social media traffic on their IG. Which there is nothing wrong with per se. If you discover-as many have above- that you can't enter the comp without an IG account by seeing this on Pinkbike, this slightly contrived format means you're more likely to create one and follow Fabric on IG. Job done, audience-and potential customer base increased. They won't be cross referencing those entrants based on who clicked on PB and IG together. They'll just draw a winner from IG. This launch is just to push customers to IG. I'm involved with things like this in my job, as I see it this is what's going on.

Real talk, the DND is my favorite riding glove.. ill happily trade some dollars to somebody for a pair of larges..should they be found... just throwing it out there.
